Barile Cup

Format: Single elimination match play event.

Each individual match consists of an 18 hole match unless a winner is decided prior to the completion of the round. The field will be limited to the first 64 players to register.

Entry Fee: $45.00 per player. Green Fees are additional. Entry fee and application must be submitted to the golf shop to register.

Eligibility: Any player with a current USGA
Handicap at Oak Brook Golf may enter the event.
Those who have a handicap at another facility must receive permission from the professional staff. Entries will close on Sunday, April 23rd. Matches can begin upon the completion of the brackets.

Brackets: Contestants will be seeded based on past performance. The remainder of the field will be randomly seeded.

Handicap Allocation: Eighty percent of the difference between the competitor’s handicaps will be used in all matches. If player “A’s” course handicap is 10, and player “B’s” course handicap is 30, the difference is 20 shots. Eighty percent of the difference is 16. Player B will receive 16 shots as they appear on the scorecard.

Rules: USGA rules of golf will govern all play.
Competitors may play from different tee markers.
Men over the age of 70, may play from the green markers. All other participants must play from the white or blue tee markers.

Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the Champion and Runner-Up following the Championship Match, on or near Saturday, September 24th.
